Some fun at the Dragon Caves in Mallorca, Spain

Drach Caves Spain /

This is my face when the bus that is supposed to come pick us up for the tour doesn’t show up at the scheduled time and no other bus driver can tell us where our bus is lol.

It’s the Italian in me showing up, knowing that something will be figured out… And that I won’t do bus tours ever again hehehe.

My sister in law came to visit us in Palma de Mallorca and we went full on tourist mode. I am sharing with you the day we went to visit the Drach Caves, aka the Dragon Caves (mother of dragons I am fully expecting btw), we also did a little boat tour which was so lovely, where we could also see some cave formations underneath the coast. And the water was so beautiful, heaven. I havent retouched the pics, so what you see is what you get. No filter.

In the caves, no flash allowed obviously, yet I’m pleasantly surprised of the pics came out as it was so dark inside, well done iPhone. The one thing I couldn’t capture, was the concert that was organized once at the bottom of the cave. In the pics you can see that there are some lakes that have formed in the cave and the bottom one is the biggest one (obviously). And so you sit down on front of it and musicians arrive in little boats, playing classical music. It was such an incredible experience and I will cherish it. Time stopped and it was pure magic to have a classical concert at the bottom of a cave. On a lake. In the dark where the only source of light were the fairy lights on each boat. Loved loved loved it. I felt so at one with the surroundings, and in a total meditative state (shameless plug of a post on why I meditate, your can read it here)…

I am so glad we played tourists, it was so worth it, late bus or not. Because the only that matters, is that “Summer is coming” 😉
