My makeup favorites

Makeup Favorites /

Although I’m wearing less and less makeup lately, I still love love love makeup and these are my favorite makeup items that I use on a daily basis.

MAC Face and Body Foundation

By far the best foundation I have ever tried and used, it is my all time favorite (I have it here in the mini size I bought for traveling).

It somehow has the perfect coverage while still letting the skin show. It is buildable and long lasting. I love it. A must try.

I use the color N2.

MUFE Excessive Lash

I love it because it makes my lashes look longer and fuller, it is very black and doesn’t smudge.

NARS The Multiple in Copacabana

Best highlighter ever. Use it on top of my cheek bones and even on my lips. Perfect highlighter is you’re looking for a cool tone one. Plus a little goes a long way and one tube lasts literally for years.

KRYOLAN Dermacolor Camouflage Concealer

Got a full review of this concealer that everyone should have with in their makeup bag. Read the review here.

Perfect for dark circles, pimples, scars and every other imperfection we want gone.

MILK Face Gloss

This is the newest addition in my makeup bag. It’s a gloss for the face that I use on top of my cheek bones (on top of NARS Copacabana), on my eyelids and even my lips. Stays put really well. so happy I purchased it.

SLEEK Contour and Blush Palette

I have been a fan of Sleek makeup for years now, love their blushes (the “Rose Gold” one is a perfect dupe to Nars “Orgasm” by the way, while over 5 times cheaper! And it’s the blush in the “light” palette). They are really pigmented, the colors are great and last long. This contour and blush palette is everything I need rolled up into one package.

The contour color is not warm (cha-ching) and I even use it as an eyeshadow. Love.

It is always a good idea to use a bit of your contour color in the crease of your eyelid, wether you have a full smokey or a more natural makeup. It ties all the makeup together. Small detail that makes a big difference, perfect for all my fellow OCDs out there 😉

I have the “light” palette, comes in 3 shades, light, medium and dark.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown and Ash Brown

I love this product cause the consistency is perfect to do your brows the way you want them to look. You can go for a natural looking brow or a full on “Instagram” brow. Your choice.

Anastasia is the brow queen and one of the reason for it I think is that she offered a really wide selection of colors, including cool tones, which are not that easy to find in other brands. I can’t stand orange, in brows, contours or hair. So this Dipbrow Pomade makes me happy.

I use these 2 colors every single time I do my brows. I start with the Medium Brown that I apply with a Real Techniques brow brush to give a first coat of depth and shape. I then use the Ash Brown (darker shade) for detailing. I apply it on a smaller brush, I use an eyeliner Sephora one #15.

Here you go lovies, you know everything!

Thank you for stopping by I hope this post on my makeup favorites was helpful. Have fun with makeup and don’t be scared to try new things 😉
