How to wear crop tops /
My love for crop tops is unconditional, yet wearing a crop top can be challenging and quickly make us look trashy if not styled properly.
Don’t feel like wearing crop tops because you don’t feel like showing your belly? Trust me, I don’t want to do that either, I’d rather hide and conceal my lower abdomen, but thankfully, fashion gives us tools and trick to play visual effects in order to make us look our best.
By styling a crop top with high waist palazzo pants, we hide the lower abdomen and emphasize the rib cage giving the illusion of a tiny waist 😉 et voilà, you look stylish and skinny, what’s not to love.
Works as well with high waisted shorts (as long as they’re wide).
Lace crop tops
When wearing palazzo pants, or any wide leg type pants, please make sure the pants are floor-length. Adjust your shoes accordingly (flats vs heels) because wide leg pants that are off the floor make you look 1) not stylish whatsoever and 2) shorter. To avoid at all cost.
My grey crop top is available here.
Although I don’t believe in repeating outfits, I had posted the black lace long sleeve crop top and palazzo pants combo in this post, but I didn’t like the way the pics came out so when I wore the palazzo pants with this grey crop top, I reshot the outfit with the lace crop top 😉
Thank you for stopping by! I hope this post on how to wear crop tops was helpful.
